Some days he wishes he didn't have a physical body. Normally he likes it - loves it as much as a heavenly being can love something that isn't divine. (Although he isn't sure humans aren't divine, in which case it would be perfectly acceptable to let his eyes roll back in sheer bliss whenever he sinks into a hot bath or tastes a perfect cheeseburger.)
Then there are times, much more often, when his feet are sore and his hands are dry and no amount of hand lotion helps, or when he's had one too many glasses of wine and hasn't yet sobered up enough naturally to remember that he can remedy that sort of thing.
He only ever hates his human body when it betrays him, and he has to use his powers to trick, trip, or distract the objection of his betrayal. It would be easier if he had no physical form, and he could blame the surge of feeling on the fact that Angels feel that sort of thing all the time, part of their purpose to Love all God's creatures.
And though love and lust aren't exactly the same thing, without a body to display it, there is no way to tell.
