Turn Around
Bosco turned around three times before sitting down on the floor. He reached over to grab the newspaper, then realised that Faith was staring at him. He glared at her. "What?"
"Why do you do that?"
Narrowing his eyes -- despite knowing exactly what she was talking about -- he snapped, "I read the paper because it has the scores from last night in it."
She hit him on the head with the magazine she'd been holding. Brian, over on the couch, laughed. Bosco glared harder. Faith had taken to thumping him whenever he did something that pissed her off, and Brian was finding it more and more amusing as time went on. He thought about throwing something at Brian, but the only thing he had was the paper, which he hadn't read yet.
"Why do you turn around three times before you sit down? Why do dogs do that?"
"I'm *not* a dog," he said in an exasperated tone.
Faith rolled her eyes. "Just answer the question. I've never understood why dogs -- and werewolves, apparently -- turn around before lying down."
Bosco shrugged. "I don't know why dogs do it." He waited. Sure enough, after a moment, Faith thumped him again. Brian laughed again. Bosco looked up with an innocent expression on his face. "I just do it to make you ask why I'm doing it."
