Jul. 31st, 2006 01:08 pmThere were a lot of things that Dean really loved about parties. There was the free food -- free food was fucking awesome. There were the number of girls and guys who, as soon as they saw his pretty face, would start saying things like "I bet we can find an empty room."
He didn't like the conversations so much -- talking about sports and politics and movies he'd never seen. But he'd learned how to smile and nod and make interested noises for as long as it took for someone to say "I bet there's an empty room somewhere." He didn't like the pretentiousness at fancy parties, and he often didn't like the music.
But what he really didn't like was searching for his missing baby brother who didn't know any better than to pick up stuff he shouldn't touch, among a crowd of people who kept teasing him about his clothes.
"Jensen!"
Dean smiled and grinned at the bald guy who'd just slung his arm across Dean's shoulders.
He was going to kill Sam. If he ever found him.
