Dear god, he was whipped.
Jimmy had been married before, and he'd learned how to stand there and say 'yes, dear' and 'whatever you say.' But that had been to Kim and he was pretty sure that shacking up with another guy wasn't supposed to be the same. They were supposed to not care about this sort of thing.
But Bosco had simply grabbed his keys and said "we need some stuff" and Jimmy had followed, not having any idea what he was getting into.
"How about this?" Bosco asked, holding up another towel.
"Sure," Jimmy said. It was the brightest, most obnoxious colour of orange -- "tangerine" -- he'd ever seen. He would have preferred brown, or black, or white. Something boring and normal. But Bos had headed right for the oh my god section of the towels, and Jimmy hadn't had the heart to say anything. Not when Bosco's entire face lit up at finding a bath towel in neon green and yellow stripes.
Bosco tossed the towel at Jimmy, who caught it and added it to the pile he was so far holding onto. Jimmy sighed. Whipped.
But yeah. It was worth it.
